Business Profile
Marco was born in Lisbon, Portugal and lived in the United Kingdom. Besides his many value-driven initiatives, Marco is currently a Programme Manager at Sky. Before joining Sky, he served as a Continuous Improvement Lead at Amgen, a Senior Project Manager at Hertz, and a Senior Management Consultant at New Angle.
Earlier in his career, Marco spent 12 years with Instituto de Soldadura e Qualidade (ISQ), Portugal’s biggest industrial engineering company. He built and led multiple high-performing engineering teams in the Electrical & Radio-Frequency Calibration Laboratory, growing the business and commercial presence across numerous European locations. In this role, Marco worked closely with the automotive and aerospace industries (AS9100, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001).
Marco holds an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Lisbon and a postgraduate degree in Laboratory Management. Certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (L6S), he has led many initiatives, increasing both bottom-line revenue and operational efficiency by designing and implementing global transformations. Have trained 100+ in Continuous Improvement (VSM, PDCA, SIPOC, A3, Ishikawa, DMAIC, Kaizen), including customer-facing experience in a management consulting setting.
